1812Blockhouse has been a part of the Mansfield and Richland County, Ohio community since 2016. It’s name refers to the iconic Blockhouse currently sitting in the city’s South Park, which has historically served as a community landmark and now as the centerpiece of living history experiences. The structure, once downtown, protected original settlers and then served as the county’s first courthouse. Read more about 1812Blockhouse here.
Plans are now underway for a site in the Delaware County, Ohio area, with a trial site underway called 1808Delaware. That site and a companion site will be officially launched later this year.
